    James Tye Founder & Executive Director of the Clean Lakes Alliance will present about all the work that they have and continue to do to help the local lakes around Madison.

    In 2019, the Clean Lakes Alliance:

    • Surpassed the $1.1 million mark for grants awarded to on-the-ground projects and educational programs since 2011
    • Started the Protect, Restore, Preserve Fund to support projects on the land, with a $100,000 challenge grant from Alliant Energy (join the challenge here!)
    • Connected more than 10,000 people to our lakes through our events, education, and outreach efforts

    Clean Lakes Alliance is uniquely positioned to bring government, business, and community organizations together to make a clear, community-wide roadmap for phosphorus reduction and healthy lakes.

    Steve Theisen, Communications Manager- I-39/90 Project and Verona Road Project at the Wisconsin Department of Transportation will be speaking to us about the various road construction projects happening on the state level around Madison.

    Back by popular demand, we are hosting another Progressive Luncheon! This will be at the new and improved meeting location, The Great Dane in Fitchburg. 

    The Progressive Luncheon allows you to network in smaller groups while enjoying a 3-course meal. Make sure to invite others and bring your business cards!

    Each course will have you at a different table, meeting some new people.

    This is always one of our most popular and fun events.
